Low Voltage Systems (LVS) was started by Doug Farkas in May of 1999. Prior to that, he successfully managed Pacific Security Services, which was acquired by Lane Industries of Chicago in April of 1999.

Low Voltage Systems was started to provide services for custom home builders, Commercial business and home owners in the greater San Diego, Orange and Riverside counties.

In addition, Doug Farkas is the current President of the San Diego Burglar and Fire Alarm Association and board member of the California alarm association
